The Château of Chenonceau

One of my favorite buildings and favorite memories is The Château of Chenonceau in the Loire Valley in France.  I've been there several times over the years, the last time with my wife who took many of these shots (some of the better ones in fact, she has a keen photographic eye).  Talk about sustainable architecture!  See the official website for a virtual tour of the interior with 360 degree panoramic views of all of the rooms at this fantastic French website http://www.chenonceau.com/vr_gb/histoire_visite.php#vr
and http://www.chenonceau.com/en .
I've arranged sequence of the photos in the order that one would approach the chateau.

A beautiful November morning in France.

The route to the Chateau.

The building started out as an old mill on the river Cher.

And finally, back in the car.
